Seeking God Through the Struggles

This episode has all the feels. Life gets really hard sometimes. Forgetting to look to God when we are struggling is sometimes too easy to do.  Unzipping the case to your Bible and praying might be all you can muster some days. We need to stand in the gap for the people in our lives that may not be able to get any further than opening their Bible or perhaps not even able to pray.  We Need to pray for them, encourage them, have Faith for them! Even the Holy Spirit will intercede for us when we don't have the words to pray, thank God for that! What happens when we push through, open that Bible and begin reading; actively seeking God? We will find that God was there the whole time. We might even find that comfort that we so very much desire and the guidance that we obviously need. If we do that, push through and look towards God, we will find coping comes much more easily.  We still have to go through hard times, but with God we can still find hope.

Deuteronomy 31: 7-8
7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. 8It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
