Self Representation

Why is self representation so important? Is it as simple as how we're perceived and how we carry ourselves or is it more. And what dictates how we do those things. Often times people look at perception as a first impression, but we can all agree first impression can all be deceiving. Furthermore, you should impress your thoughts, expectations and feelings on a person based off how they look. This doesn't mean you should carry yourself in a manor that is less than what or who you are. You owe it to yourself to find a healthy balance of who you are and how you want to present yourself in a comfortable manor.
