Right before the elections, the Presidential candidates were going on podcasts.  Neither campaign responded to my request for an interview (and if you were listening they both pretty much said the same thing on all the podcasts).  So I did something better.  I interviewed President Theodore Roosevelt. This is Colonel Roosevelt's podcast debut.  If you like the podcast, you can reach out to me via the Internet below: e-mail: [email protected] Sky Social media: @senatorjimstanczyk.bsky.socialTechhub Social (Mastodon): https://techhub.social/@SenatorJimStanczykNo guarantees on a quick response!

Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 087 by Various LibriVox "Certitude is not the test of certainty." This pithy phrase is from Jurist Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr's essay on Natural Law, one of twenty nonfiction pieces chosen by their readers for inclusion in volume 087. Selections from Pascal, Josiah Royce, and C.S. Peirce also delve philosophical themes. Builders, warriors, artists, and activists, the many faces of mankind, are illuminated in selections on Ferdinand De Lesseps, Stanislaus Koniecpolski, Jan Karol Chodkiewicz, Mark Twain, Charlie Chaplin, Frederic Edwin Church, the 14th century citizens of Liège, who vanquished Sir Radus' castle, and Simon Pokagon's The Red Man's Rebuke. Major moments in U.S. history are visited in the Civil War Battle of Chickamauga and the Great Chicago Fire. He may be upright in purpose and strong in the belief of his own integrity, but he cannot even dream of the ordeal to which he cannot fail to be exposed; of how much courage he must possess to resist the temptations which must daily beset him; of that sensitive shrinking from undeserved censure which he must learn to control; of the ever recurring contest between a natural desire for public approbation and a sense of public duty; of the load of injustice he must be content to bear even from those who should be his friends; the imputations on his motives; the sneers and sarcasms FAA in the Danger Zone: Inception Point Ai American Air Flight Controllers Grapple with Staffing Shortages and Aged Equipment: Troubling Report Fuels Concerns The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is facing a multitude of challenges, including staffing shortages, aging equipment, and concerns about safety. These issues have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to flight delays, cancellations, and heightened anxieties among passengers. Adding to the concerns, a recent report from outside experts commissioned by the FAA has painted a troubling picture of the agency's current state.
