Service: God still calls

“Would you consider serving the church?” For some of us, this question provokes fear, inadequacy, and a desire to keep the church community at a safe distance. For others of us, this question makes us feel noticed, wanted - and we relish the opportunity for our skills or talents to be made known to the larger church. But how should we respond to this question? How is serving in the church, different from volunteering elsewhere or supporting a valued cause? Looking at 1 Corinthians 3:5-17, Pastor Johanan will seek to bring clarity to service in “Service: God still calls”!
