He spends the rest of his time building RESPOND, an artificially intelligent app to help dementia patients with their everyday lives. Callum outlines his amazing journey; from not knowing what to study at university, to being selected as a global finalist for the National Instruments Engineering Impact Awards after developing the idea for RESPOND whilst still studying. The boys learn about Streamoid, debating how AI could change the world of fashion and whether this is positive for the industry. The debate gets existential when they ponder how AI could impact the future of the human race. Callum then explains how he balances a full-time job with the development of RESPOND, his inspiration for the app and the potential ground-breaking impact that it could have when it’s up and running.
