Session 014: Tim Armoo | Fanbytes

from The Bull Sessions · host The Bull Sessions

This week, the boys sit down with Fanbytes CEO Tim Armoo. Fanbytes is a video distribution company that works with brands to distribute videos on social media through influencer channels.  Tom and Ross chat to Tim about his upbringing, and his early years spent living in Ghana. Tim talks candidly about his time in Ghana and the differences in culture and education compared to the UK. He explains how this provided him with the foundation and attitude that has led to his success in business.  Tim gives the boys an amusing look into his childhood, and tells stories about his early career that shaped his journey; including selling ice creams at school and a slight mishap with spread betting after selling his second business, Entrepreneur Express. Ross and Rom learn about the development of Fanbytes; from an overly-ambitious idea to a hugely successful business with clients such as Universal and Apple Music. Tim explains the transition, and how the business has pivoted numerous times to get to where it is today. The boys chat to Tim about his ambitions for the future, including his goals of becoming a Health or EdTech investor. Tim gives his top three pieces of advice for young entrepreneurs, and shares the importance of aggressively learning in order to be successful in any field.  The Bull Sessions’ game segment returns once again, with Tom hosting this week’s social media themed game. ----more---- Check out Tim: https://www.linkedin.com/in/timothyarmoo/ https://twitter.com/TimArmoo  Check out Fanbytes: https://fanbytes.co.uk https://twitter.com/FanbytesHQ Check out our social media:  https://twitter.com/bullsessionspod https://www.instagram.com
