Shift 022 - What 365 Days of Mediation Gave Me

from Shifted · host Kimberly Romano

What if consistency wasn’t about willpower… but about rhythm? 🤯In today’s episode of Shifted, I’m celebrating a personal milestone: 365 consecutive days of meditation, and I want you to celebrate with me. For years, I tried to be “the kind of person” who meditated daily… and I kept falling off. Same story with journaling and other personal growth practices. I started to assume maybe I just wasn’t built for consistency. But once I began understanding my Human Design + Numerology, I stopped trying to force someone else’s routine, and built a rhythm that actually fit me.And once I found my rhythm, I was able to consistently practice mediation for 365 days. Today, I'm sharing with you what 365 consecutive days of meditation has given me.Key takeawaysConsistency isn’t a personality trait, it’s a rhythm. If you’ve “failed” at habits before, it doesn’t mean you’re broken. It usually means the structure wasn’t designed for you.Meditation doesn’t require an empty mind. Racing thoughts don’t mean you’re doing it wrong. They’re often the exact doorway into more peace. You can train yourself to be the observer, not the passenger. Over time, I learned to watch my thoughts like a runaway train passing through the station—without jumping on board.Your reactions shape your reality more than your thoughts do. Thoughts happen. The power is in what you do with them, how you respond, regulate, and move forward.Racing thoughts pull you out of the present. They tend to drag you into the past or throw you into the future, stealing your ability to actually live what’s happening now. When you create space, everything changes. More peace. Less anxiety. Less overwhelm. More clarity. And a deeper trust in yourself.Hit play if…your mind feels like it runs at a million miles an houryou’ve tried habits before and couldn’t “stick to them”you secretly worry you’re not consistent enoughyou want a simpler, more human way to approach meditation (and your growth)Click the link in the show notes to book a Human Design + Numerology reading and I’ll help you uncover your natural rhythm, so consistency becomes supportive instead of stressful.Question for you: What’s one thing you’ve been trying to follow through on (in business or life) that you keep circling back to, but haven’t been able to stay consistent with?Come and connect with me where it feels good for you:Book a Reading → https://ksromano.hbportal.co/public/696657abbedfd00021f2b6a8 Discover REM → https://ksromano.com/remJoin the newsletter → https://ksromano.com/joinCatch exclusive content on YouTube → https://www.youtube.com/@TheConsciousBusinessHubFollow me on IG → https://www.instagram.com/kimberlysromano/Get inspired on Pinterest → https://www.pinterest.com/kimberlyromano
