You never look good trying to make someone else look bad. Especially now, with life for most being tough enough already.

Thanks to social media it’s easier now than ever to try and outshine someone, but that doesn’t mean you should. Pointing out someone’s flaws, mistakes, or trying to one-up them makes YOU look judgey and like you think you are better than them.

When someone does this, they are actually revealing their own feelings of being less than. And the funny thing is, it actually makes them feel worse.

Making someone feel good will help you feel good. Making someone feel loved, heard, and understood is the best way to change how you feel. You shine when you help them shine.

Lord knows, we need all the brightness we can muster in today’s world.
