London has reversed course on a plan to reduce speed limits in school zones on some major roadways. Last week the civic works committee voted in favour of a plan to reduce speed limits by 10 km/h on sections of Oxford, Wellington and Highbury but full council decided on Tuesday to scrap that plan.
