Today, we see the Messiah heal the physically blind and the spiritually blind. We were all born in the blindness of sin, and without the light of Christ we cannot find a way to safety. Christ comes to us to shine his light into our darkened eyes so that we might see him and live. For those who refuse to see Jesus as their Savior, the blindness of unbelief remains. He gives gracious sight to those who trust in him and displays the work of God in the lives of those who now walk in the light of Christ.
