We finish our message series called, “Searching for Christmas.” For the past several years, there has been a lot of unhappiness and conflict related to what a lot of people call “The war on Christmas.” Many people, stores, and businesses are actively trying to take “Christ” out of Christmas. But experiencing the reality of Christ (the reality of Jesus) in this Christmas season is so much more than including him in our speech, our holiday announcements, and our greetings. It’s about embracing the reality of who Jesus is, and the mission he was born into the world for in our everyday lives.
