SITB 150 feat. Alex Kislov(DJ/Producer)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Well here we are - episode 150! What a journey it's been so far... believe me when I say I only love this more and more every episode. I am grateful to have found my true passion and I am even more grateful for all of the support from episode 001 through 150. I knew the guest for this episode needed to be special one and I am so excited to have my dear friend @alexkislov to fill that spot for SITB 150! Alex came on the show for episode 060 with Arvi Mala back in March 2019... feels like an eternity ago but Alex has been KILLING it ever since and we had so much to catch up on. In episode 150 we discussed: -2020 thoughts: As a top DJ/Producer in Chicago, Alex's life and livelihood was flipped upside down. Being the optimistic and creative man that he is, Alex was able to find new ways to continue growing his brand and contribute to the Chicago music scene in many ways. -2019-2020 Discography: Alex made huge strides with his productions over the past 2 years releasing tracks like "I Party", "Sometimes" with Orville Kline, "Nimbus" and "Shining" feat Kellen Fescini - which also had an incredible music video to go along with it. Don't forget he just officially joined forces with Arvi Mala and released "Iron Eyes" under their new moniker, "MALOV" -Future plans: Alex's most recent release, "Nimbus", gives you a taste on what he's been making in the studio recently and takes a new direction in comparison to his house productions. He showed me some unreleased music before our interview and it was some really powerful stuff. We cannot wait for the world to hear it! Alex is someone who I admire in many different ways - more than I can count. Before we started he literally made me change my outfit and put on a blazer... sometimes only your true friends know what is best for you! This was such a fun interview and I know you all will enjoy it as much as we did - thanks for sharing this moment with me AK! linktr.ee/sherminthebooth
