SITB 158 feat. Très Mortimer(DJ/Producer)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Wow do we have something special for you today!! 158 features the incredibly talented DJ/Producer Très Mortimer!! I had such a blast getting his full story 📖 In episode 158 we discussed: •Early inspirations and influences: Très comes from a Polish background and was exposed to many different types of music at a very early age. He fell in love with the energy that electronic music brings and wanted to create it on his own. He's now been producing for over a decade and it SHOWS! 🤩 •Discography: Très has released tons of various styles of music and continues to raise the bar along with every new release. With massive dance tracks like BAMBU with plumpy(supported by Diplo and released on Mad Decent), Raeggaton tracks like "Damn Good" with Skales, and Hip Hop heaters like "SUSHI GANG" with Brian Fresco, it's no surprise that Mr Mortimer continues to crush in any genre he produces. 📀💯 •Chicago music and culture: A ride or die Chicago native, Tres has a deep appreciation for the role that Chicago plays on a global scale. We had an amazing discussion on how our generation will help shape the future of house music and how important it is that we show the well-deserved respect to the OG's that have helped (and still do help) put Chicago on the map. His new collab project with plumpy called "The Belmont Boys" is entirely shaped around the core elements of house - really amazing stuff they're creating.❤️🏙 I've been following Tres for a few years now and it was a pleasure to finally sit down and get to know him. I had the chance to hear some of his unreleased tunes and wow.... YA'LL AIN'T READY AND NEITHER WAS I!! 🔥 Cannot wait to connect again and thanks for coming on the show! 🤘🏻 linktr.ee/sherminthebooth
