SITB 170 feat. Bexxie (DJ/Producer)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Episode 170 features the incredibly talented DJ/Producer Bexxie!! I first discovered her late last year and immediately became a huge fan. She is such a dope producer and it was a blast getting her full story. 🙌🏻 In 170 we discussed: •Early inspirations and influences: Born and raised in northern NJ, Bexxie was exposed to the 90's punk rock and warehouse culture at a young age. She eventually got her first pair of vinyl decks and fell in love with DJing. Originally a drum and bass producer, she took a break from music until she came back and entered the house music world - and boy are we glad she did! 🤩 •Discography: Over the past couple years, Bexxie has been building her sonic identity and pumping out amazing tracks on labels like Vivifer, THRIVE, Let There Be House and Brooklyn Fire. She's built her name by producing powerful piano house tracks like "Drawn To You" with PLEXXAGLASS and "Meant To Be" with Ryan Konline along with dirty club hits like "Feel The Sound" and "Feel The Energy" - which is going to hit 5 million plays on Spotify any day now... THIS GIRL'S GOT IT! ⭐️ •Production Style: Bexxie has a special range that she continuously shows and is able to achieve unique grooves and energy in all of her tracks. She gave some insight on how she stays creative and her style for coming up with new ideas. Lots of great pieces of information in this one! 🗣 It was such a pleasure getting to chat with this future superstar and I genuinely enjoyed our conversation throughout this interview. She's straight up an awesome person. 🦸‍♀️
