SITB 190 feat. HoneyLuv (DJ/Producer)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Episode 190 features the amazing DJ/Producer HoneyLuv! Taylor caught my ear after her first release "FREE" earlier this year and since then I've become such a massive fan. She's a special talent in this industry and it was amazing getting her full story. 📖 In 190 we got it all in and discussed: •Journey Into Music: Taylor was raised in Cleveland OH and her mom always had 90s dance music playing when she was growing up. She pursued NCAA Basketball in college but eventually moved to Southern CA to join the Navy in hopes of traveling the world. However, dance music was calling her name and she started pursuing a career in music as a DJ/Producer - HoneyLuv was launched and she hasn't looked back since. 🤘 •Discography: Although HoneyLuv only started releasing music in early 2021, every record she's put out has some serious personality to it. With tracks like "Perfect Energy" with Maniacs, "Pain", and "Paradise" with Hugo Cantarra and Omen via Thrive Music, there's no denying that HoneyLuv's sound is here to stay. So much fun talking through the inspiration behind her music! 🎶 •DJ Life: One of the main reasons Taylor got into music was to give herself the ability to travel the globe and share her music with the world. In just one year, she's already played at EDC Las Vegas, The Brooklyn Mirage in NYC, Seismic in Austin TX, Echostage in DC, and is already booked for Lightning in a Bottle next year in SoCal. I'm sure it won't be long until she's found herself in Ibiza - maybe permanently! ✈️ Taylor is a truly inspirational person on many levels - she is someone who genuinely wants to give back to the music community and is already a role model for so many people. ⭐️ Thank you so much for coming on the show and I cannot wait to meet you in person someday soon 🙌
