SITB 199 feat. Emma Kapotes (EDM Content Creator/Podcast Host)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

SITB 199 features the multi-faceted EDM content creator Emma Kapotes! Emma is sooo dope on many levels and has built such an incredible brand through her content and podcast called "Rave Culture Cast".  In 199 we got it all in and discussed: •Journey into Dance Music: Emma was born and raised in NJ and fell in love with dance music after her first EDC in 2015. She started going to more festivals and shows across the US and quickly realized that there was a huge gap in content relating to preparing and reviewing these festivals. She started a YouTube channel and began building the Emma Kapotes brand. Today, she has over 75k followers across various social media platforms that she grew all on her own. Amazing! 🤩 •Content Creator Extraordinaire: Emma has many different types of media that she creates for each social channel varying from show reviews, festival fashion tips, artists to watch, product partnerships and so much more. Emma and I went deep on how she stays so consistent and develops new ideas for her social media. Tons of great stories and pieces of advice in this portion of the interview! 📝 •Rave Culture Cast: In April 2019, Emma started her podcast as an outlet to discuss new topics and build a community that could connect with each other across the world. RCC has grown so much across her 150 episodes - she recently started incorporating interviews with dance music artists like Elohim, LP Giobbi, Nostalgix, Kyle Kinch and more. It's seriously such a great podcast! 🙌🏻 Ya gotta love when 2 content creators/podcasters get together and have a 1-1 conversation about dance music - I had SO much fun getting to know Emma and am truly inspired by her commitment to the community on every level. ❤️ Make sure to give her a follow and check out her podcast! 🎙 linktr.ee/sherminthebooth
