En la planta 25 del Waldorf Astoria se oyen los gritos de las trágicas historias que guarda la ciudad de Nueva York. Hay uno muy lejano que llega desde el valle de Sleepy Hollow. Allí, en 1820, Washington Irving  dio a conocer al mundo la leyenda del jinete sin cabeza: la bella Katrina tiene a dos obstinados pretendientes deseosos de conseguir algo de la riqueza familiar.
