Criminal barristers in Sligo have been protesting outside the courthouse today over a long-running dispute relating to legal fees.Following similar protests from last year, the government committed to implementing an independent mechanism to determine legal fees, but are yet to follow through on it.Sligo County Prosecutor, Leo Mulrooney, was at the protest and highlighted his concerns for the future of the profession after a series of financial cuts over the past 15 years.Speaking to OceanFM news, Mr Mulrooney says the current system is unfair:
