  • 29 | So about that cancer thing...

    09/10/2023

My wife Amy is a guest this week on the podcast as we open up and discuss her breast cancer diagnosis from a few months ago and what her first week was like going through chemotherapy. Spoiler: it wasn't good. We almost don't know what to do with ourselves right now, so we thought sharing our story with others who may be going through the same fight. We get into some details that may be uncomfortable, but it's real. We are days out from the first chemotherapy session and wanted to document what happened before heading into the second infusion. If you or a loved one or someone you know had a bad experience with your first chemotherapy session, you might want to take a listen. Feel free to share your experience with us and if you have questions, we can try to answer as best we can. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tossingsaladpodcast/support

  • Welp that happened.

    05/08/2023

Sometimes something happens that is so special, so unique. That it's never going to happen again. And that's what the panel takes on today. RaShaun Greg and Josh sit down to talk about those moments in pop culture that will not come around again. And maybe that's for the best? But it sure is fun to look back and remind ourselves that yes indeed. That actually happened!! So strap in for a bumpy ride down memory lane and nostalgia! As we resurrect those long past memories, whether they should be brought back or not. Buy some merch if you will. https://www.threadless.com/@Manic-aRt

  • That Episode about Bears

    07/31/2018

What is the best kind of bear? A koala bear perhaps? Guess again, you dingus! That’s not even a bear. Did we just destroy your entire view of the known world, causing it to careen at near light speed into a void of unimaginable darkness? Leaving you a shell of man, with only a fleeting memory of the person you once were? Yeah, sorry about that. Subscribe to National Geographic for like $10 a year, you’ll learn more neat nature facts like that little tidbit. ... So yeah, Tim and Ian talk about bears this week.

How well do you know your best friend? Do you know everything about them? We thought we would start this month off with a fun game. In this weeks episode, we write out a list of questions to ask each other to see how much we know. This really gave us game show vibes, and it was so much fun. We thought this was also a cool way to help you get to know us too. Last but not least, we can't forget to mention that we have a discussion about "Kravis", and how we feel about it. Follow us on IG to engage on topics weekly! @Bakeandbanterpodcast

    NOCLIP

WELCOME TO NOCLIP! We are a fortnightly, book club-styled podcast in which we attempt to go in-depth on an individual video game and figure out what makes it unique. Episodes are around an hour to an hour and a half long and primarily feature free form discussion on themes and mechanics present in each episode’s titular game. Bear in mind that we are not reviewers, so as far as we critique the games at hand, our intent is not to convince you to play any particular work. SPOILER WARNING: Given the depth at which we intend to cover the games in question, those which feature a story, plot, mechanical surprises, fun moments you may not have heard about or otherwise will be fully discussed, likely at length. Given this, it is advised that you go into each episode with the understanding that these elements will most likely be spoiled. If you are sensitive to that sort of thing, we recommend that you either play the game before listening to the podcast, or skip the episode altogether. (Though

    Cannonball of Death

Welcome to Anti-wave Podcast, where Robert Cannon + Ira Heffler discuss all your Anti-wave movie needs. What the hell is Anti-wave, you ask? Great question. In short, Anti-wave is a way to describe films that seek to buck the typical Hollywood trends. Anti-wave is an opportunity to reimagine the way we construct genre films. Anti-westerns have been popular in the years since WWII, but where are the anti-sports films that try to shake off the expected formulaic writing? This podcast tries to find those films for you. Along the way, we deliver some laughs, get into film theory, and speak with filmmakers who share our anti-sentiment. So, welcome to Anti-wave Podcast! We hope you enjoy the ride.

    Embrace The Void

Welcome friends, to a podcast for a darker timeline. Maybe the darkest of all timelines. Definitely not one of the good timelines. Maybe it’s always been a dark timeline, maybe the Hadron collider screwed us over. Science may never know. What we do know is that we live in the void. The void, a place where a chittering mass of void crabs can infest a person suit and win the presidency. The void, a place where we're just clever enough to know that climate change is happening, but not quite clever enough to do anything about it. The void seems terrible and cruel, but it loves you, in its own ironic way.
