Soccer Saturday December 27, 2025Segment 1 (0:00- 3:02)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour in its Best of 2025 edition of the show. Segment 2 (6:02-16:55) For this segment of the show, Greg’s Broadcast partner during the 2025 season and a member of Indy Eleven for over 100 starts Brad Ring joins the show to recap the 2025 Indy Eleven season and talk about what it was like stepping into the broadcast booth. He talks about the difference in the game now versus what it was when he started playing a decade ago. Segment 3 (19:55-33:29) During this segment, the other broadcast partner of Greg’s during the 2025 season Dan Kapsalis joins the show. He talks about his soccer broadcast career calling indoor and outdoor soccer over the years on radio and television. He talks about current Indy Eleven players who he has seen come up through the soccer ranks. He talks about Zionsville FC and the rebranding of that club that Dan is a part of since the end of the Indy Eleven season. Segment 4 (36:29-49:57) In this segment, former Indy Eleven Color Commentator and current Vice President of Marketing at Indy Sports and Entertainment Brad Hauter, which takes over running Grand Park in Westfield. He talks about the new job and what is coming up at Grand Park including which teams and nations could call Westfield their practice home during the World Cup next summer. He talks how weird and different it was to not be calling the games this past season. Segment 5 (52:27-56:28) To close the show today, Greg recaps the 2025 season and begins to preview the 2026 season coming up. Training Camp gets underway in January and matches start in March. He thanks everybody who is responsible for the show and broadcasts over the course of the year.
