Soccer Saturday June 21, 2025Segment 1 (0:00-5:20)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is coming up on the show. He previews the match tonight as the Summer of Soccer begins with the next six of seven matches being played on home turf. He also recaps last weekend's win against Pittsburgh and where they currently stand in the playoff race.Segment 2 (8:20-23:52) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show from his postgame conversation after their win against Pittsburgh which was their second straight win. They recap the match and what were the keys to victory against the RiverHounds. Greg goes through the league table and where the playoff race stands. Also in this segment, the man with the only goal in the 1-0 win against Pittsburgh, Jack Blake joins the show from his postgame interview after getting the only goal for the win. Indy Eleven Defender Pat Hogan also joins the show via the postgame show to talk about playing against his former teammates having come from Pittsburgh to Indy in the offseason.Segment 3 (26:52-39:13) Indy Eleven Assistant Coach Gabe Zapponi is on the program this week since Coach Sean McAuley was away this week. Greg and Gabe talk about the week of training and look ahead to tonight's match vs Las Vegas. They talk about Romario Williams who is representing Jamaica in the Gold Cup so therefore away from Indy Eleven for a few weeks. Greg talks about the USL schedule for the day as well.Segment 4 (42:13-52:07) In this segment Greg talks about the FIFA Club World Cup and the Gold Cup going on this month across the country. He talks about the lack of attendance at these competitions and is there too much soccer going on in this country at the moment.Segment 5 (55:07-56:13) On this final segment of the show, Greg wraps up the show and talks where you can stream the Indy Eleven and Las Vegas match later tonight.
