Some prisoners in the world suffer pain from severe conditions or even torture. When there is news about the outlook of being set free, such prisoners may sing songs of hope, confidence and freedom. None of us humans is perfect, we all fall short of the holy God’s standards, we all are imprisoned and doomed in sin and wrongdoing, but there is the outlook of being set free, not only a vague rumour rather the firm hope, based on and confirmed by the victory that Jesus already has won for all who put their faith in him. The chains are released. We can sing with confidence the song of freedom.
