Stopped moving. In the next 24 hours. But here's the catch. Dense fog rolled in overnight across the Lowcountry and Pee Dee. Visibility drops to a quarter mile in spots. A Dense Fog Advisory runs until 10 A.M. Take it slow if you're heading out early. Down in Charleston, that fog hangs around until 11 A.M. Then the sun breaks through and you're climbing to 73 degrees. Tonight brings more patchy fog after 1 A.M., with a low around 59. Push inland to Columbia and the fog burns off faster, around 8 A.M. Then the real warmth kicks in. You're hitting 80 degrees today. That's 53 degrees above normal for early March. Tonight stays mild at 60. Up in Greenville, no fog to worry about. Just partly sunny skies and a high near 77. Southwest winds gust to 18 miles an hour this afternoon, so you'll feel that breeze. Tonight drops to 58 under partly cloudy skies. This unseasonable warmth isn't going anywhere. Friday brings upper 70s to low 80s statewide. A few showers possible in the Upstate by afternoon.
