But this is classic West Virginia. Some of you're getting snow. Some are getting rain. And by Saturday? You'll be flirting with 60 degrees. Down in Southern West Virginia, snow showers linger before 7 A.M., then skies clear to partly sunny. You'll hit 36 degrees today. Tonight, another round of snow arrives after midnight. Lows near 29. Winds gust to 28 miles an hour, so expect some blowing snow in the higher spots. Tomorrow you'll thaw to 47 degrees, but rain and snow could mix early. Central West Virginia gets the gentler version. Partly sunny today with highs reaching 42. A light southwest breeze makes it almost pleasant. But after midnight, light rain moves in. Lows dip to 34, then temperatures actually rise overnight to 39 by dawn. Winds pick up, gusting to 26 miles an hour. Tomorrow you're looking at 55 degrees. Yes, 55. But watch for a slight chance of rain and snow before 1 P.M. Now the Northern Panhandle has it roughest. Today stays chilly at 38 degrees. Then snow arrives after 10 P.M. Tonight. An 80 percent chance means you'll wake up to about an inch on the ground. Tomorrow, snow continues before 7 A.M., then mixes with rain. Highs reach 47, but gusts up to 25 miles an hour make it feel colder. Winter Weather Advisories run from 9 P.M. Tonight through 1 P.M. Wednesday. Plan for slippery roads. The week ahead brings wild swings. Wednesday mixes snow and rain, highs in the 40s and 50s. Thursday brings rain statewide. Friday breaks sunny in the 50s. Saturday hits near 60 — spring's preview.
