Speed causing concern in Strandhill

One of the biggest issues facing people in Strandhill is speed and traffic, which affects both motorists and pedestrians. That's according to Sligo-Strandhill Fianna Fáil Cllr Tom MacSharry, who says the situation is continually being raised. Traffic calming measures along with upgraded footpaths and road resurfacing have long been highlighted by local resident groups. Cllr MacSharry says he has spoken to local Gardaí about possible solutions to the matter.
