Discouraged Ones is a Dj/Producer from Turkey and he is the founder of the great Funkfield Recordings, homes of the dope artist of the underground house scene. In 2000 he started hosting regular nights in Turkey called FUNKFIELD. This quickly progressed into nights, boat parties and tours in countries such as The Czech Republic and Bulgaria hosting guests such as Christian Smith, Sven Vath Marco Lenzi, Gary Martin, Umek, Dj Cess, Toni Rio & W.J Henze aka Gecko, Justin Long and Jay West. In 2005 he decided to start their own digital label and FUNKFIELD RECORDS was born. Producing their own tracks as well as collaborating and having artists such as Joey Youngman & Inland Knights signed to them. Having received huge support from the likes of Nathan Coles, Rob Pearson, and Inland Knights, DISCOURAGED ONES push on, currently staying in Bangkok to concentrate on working harder for the label and getting more quality tunes pushed out.
