Small Group/Personal Reflection Questions What might be some implications to the early Christians being called “The Way” (Acts 9:2, 19:23, 24:14)? How is that different from being called “the Church” or “Christians”? Read Matthew 7:13-14 What does it mean to understand this passage as “Salvation as Transaction”? What does it mean to understand this passage as “Salvation as Transformation”?John Mark Comer writes: “For Jesus, salvation is less about getting you into heaven and more about getting heaven into you…It’s less of a transaction and more of a transformation. It’s not just about what he has done for us but also about what he has done, is doing, and will do in us if we apprentice under him.” What do you think “salvation is less about getting you into heaven and more about getting heaven into you” means?
