This Sports-Psychology Mini-Series will be featuring 4 episodes. In each episode, I will cover a different aspect of Sports Psychology. Each episode will be between 15 and 20 minutes long. The overall goal of this Mini-Series is for athletes to control their anxiety before and during competition, so controlling your emotions. In this first episode I give an introduction into Sports Psychology to begin with. Further into the episode I introduce the concept of anxiety and touch on the concept of self-confidence, by addressing different misconceptions about self-confidence. Towards the end I explain a necessary theory in order to be able to control anxiety. If you are an athlete who struggles with controlling your emotions before competition or feel like you can't deliver your best performances in important competition/games, this is the exact podcast for you.
