Adey is brought to the colony hospital. 733T, meanwhile, has become so focused on the task of combating the Borg-like nanites driving the pathogen that she ignores requests to help with the technical breakdowns that are crippling the colony infrastructure. It falls to Lt Keenec to devise a plan to leverage 733T's capacity to communicate to Borg drones into control of the nanites. While they make progress, Captain Haskell reveals his true colours, and Captain Prel is taken to sickbay, leaving Lieut. Th'Vileq in command of an inexperienced Bridge Crew facing aggressive Breen 'privateers'.
