from Playing at the Hearth · host The Open Hearth Gaming Community

Our Security Chief, an Andorian Lieutenant Thj'shialnehr, will arrive later in the series but his record suggests he may have a more conciliatory approach to his job than might be expected of a typical Andorian. Finally, and possibly most unusually, we discover that Starfleet's Core of Engineers have been developing the Emergency Medical Hologram installed in the Intrepid and Nova classes into a fully independent and functional 'Command Officer', so that our 'Doctor' also fills the role of the ship's First Officer. These, then, are the Main Crew Characters of the USS Montgomery (NX-72532), an experimental Nova-class refit named for one of Starfleet's greatest engineers, and intended to test various prototypes in the field. How long that trial continues, may depend on our NPC Captain, the taciturn Commander Jorzan Prel, a Joined Trill nearing the end of a career that has left his somewhat disillusioned ...Original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ7-dgdhTAM ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
