Well. We're here. The Last Jedi. We knew it was coming and we knew it was going to happen but...ugh. But alas, we have to finish off our Star Wars film recaps and that has to be done by looking at the eighth episode so let's just do it shall we? Have we gotten over just how disappointing this movie was? Has it gotten worse? Are there any redeeming features? Did the reviews for this movie actually break the film industry given the fan backlash? How is this movie macklunkey? How hard are we trying to like this rather than no like it? How hard was it to take the death of Carrie Fisher? What will our take on Rose be? Is the opening crawl the most pointless opening crawl in all of Star Wars? Can we handle the humour in this movie, particularly a "yo mama" joke? Why does the whole opening battle just make no sense? Why is the force kind of stupid in the opening sequence? Why does Ben zone out throughout most of this episode? Porgs. Why is the Holdo scene involving hyperspace incredible and flawed at the same time? Porgs. How great is Andy Serkis? Porgs.
