Speaking in a calm and composed manner, she informed the dispatcher that her adopted daughter was nowhere to be found. Following the oddly calm distress call, a substantial number of police officers and volunteers descended upon the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma Washington to search for the little girl. The focal point of their efforts was the nearby Target store. Despite their exhaustive search that lasted several hours on that fateful Thursday, they found no trace of her.
