Dipartimento di Civiltà e Forme del Sapere) "E così, attraverso le risposte alle domande dell’analista, l’autore fa raccontare al personaggio principale la sua storia. Che è quella di una gioventù privilegiata e depressa, costretta a vivere, come del resto i coetanei meno fortunati, all’ombra di un passato subìto e opprimente, di una rivoluzione che non solo non ha dato i risultati attesi, ma che con il suo carico di utopie crollate - cui si è pure aggiunto lo spettro del decennio nero della guerra civile e degli islamisti - ha inibito ogni possibilità di sperare in un futuro migliore (non è un caso che in Algeria la primavera araba non abbia attecchito)."
