Smiper Camping Stories Smiper: Nathan and Stephanie Smith and Nick and Katie Piper A podcast all about camping adventures, mostly ones we take with our kids. However, a guest may stop by from time to time to share of their camping stories. We share details about different campgrounds we have stayed at, food ideas, camping hacks, places to visit (and eat), and of course share funny stories. It's always a great time here, this podcast sounds like friends hanging out around the campfire."Smiper" is Nathan and Stephanie Smith and Nick and Katie Piper Sun and Saddle Leather by Charles Badger Clark Loyal Books Cowboy Poetry began as a 19th Century Performance Art staged around a crackling campfire, referencing tall tales and personal stories, lost girlfriends, and love of the vast unboundaried West. It was best accompanied by a hot tin cup of boiled coffee, dunked biscuits, and beef jerky. The rhymed couplets were easy to remember, and once the day's drive was done, everybody had a few hours to listen to friends and wonder at the stars. Badger Clark gave voice and record to this unique American folk art, and built on it to express his own creative genius. He was declared the first Poet Laureate of South Dakota, or as he liked to say, “Poet Lariat.” Aesop's Fables: New Revised Version Aesop Aesop's Fables belong to every one of us. They were once simply the words of a slave; a man who lived 600 years before Christ. They were written down by a Greek, and then a Roman, and they spread, like the armies of Rome, across the known world. They were told around heathen campfires, and noble hearths; whispered in sacred monasteries and churches; lectured in Victorian school rooms and acted out by children at play. Each little fable is bound up with 2000 years of wisdom and truth. From these we know that a mouse is too weak to withstand the strength of a lion, yet too mighty to be bound by ropes. We learn that the violence of the North Wind is no match for the gentle beaming of the unrelenting Sun. We know in our hearts that the sheep must push through life, and try to overcome its many dangers, that the wolf will trick and deceive to survive, and that we cannot pretend to understand the logic of the gods if we do not hold ourselves to the same standard. Therefore, Aesop's Fables be Audio Stories by The Spill The Spill Audio Stories by The Spill is primarily catered to our audience with visual impairments, blindness, and reading disabilities, ensuring their access to our content.
