The wrong message: “Trust in Christ, and…” We are perfectly righteous because of what Jesus has done. Romans 8:1 Ephesians 1:7 Ephesians 2:8-10 1 Corinthians 1:30 Philippians 1:1 Hebrews 10:10 Colossians 1:22 The good news is about payment, not performance. Our obedience is not so we will be accepted, but because we have been accepted. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 The Gospel is about payment.
