We are living as exiles in a world that is not our home. Like Babylon in the book of Daniel, the world rarely attacks our faith head-on. Instead, it slowly erodes our identity through comfort, compromise, and small concessions. If we are not intentionally being formed into the image of Jesus, we will unintentionally be shaped by the culture around us. This message calls us to resist being “well-adjusted” to Babylon and, like Daniel and Moses, to remember who we belong to and choose faithfulness in the small, everyday decisions that shape our lives.
