Suicide NEEDS To Be Spoken About (Here's Why)...

Just before Christmas in 2018 I sat down with Ellen for the Metro's Podcast called Mentally Yours. It was an honour to be featured, and I wanted to share the full conversation with you.In it, I talk about the need for us to start talking about suicide. With it affecting so many, but with many still suffering in silence, we need to start normalising the conversation. Grief in particular is something as a society we shift away from talking about, but when it's suicide, that silence becomes deeper. The more open we can be about suicide, hopefully the less people will feel alone.I see it as the big 'S' now, and we can almost relate it to when cancer was the big 'C'.
