from Howcee Productions Gospel · host Freddie C. Howard
SUNDAY MORNING GOSPEL "Sunday School" AMAZING ENCOUNTERS LUKE 24: 1-12 See the affection and respect the women showed to Christ, after he was dead and buried. Observe their surprise when they found the stone rolled away, and the grave empty. Christians often perplex themselves about that with which they should comfort and encourage themselves. What is the sermon in Luke 24 5 6? “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee.”— Luke xxiv. 5, 6. THE first day of the week commemorates the resurrection of Christ, and, following apostolical example, we have made the first day of the week to be our Sabbath What is the prayer in Luke 24 5 6? What is the prayer he taught us? Jesus shares a similar instruction when a disciple asks to be taught how to pray in Luke 11:1-4 (NIV). “He said to them, 'When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. Thank you Lord that, in you, I no longer need to fear death and its great unknown. Instead, I can face it with confidence, knowing that you have defeated it. And, that on the other side of death, I will be with you forever.
