In the season 3 premiere after a 4 year podcast hiatus, host - Emiliano Styles converses with Devere Rogers. Devere is an actor, playwright, screenwriter, producer, and director. In this episode we discuss Devere’s journey growing up in Atlanta, to New York City where he studied at NYU Tisch School or the Arts, to his recent projects in Los Angeles. He has been featured in several acclaimed TV shows (Abbott Elementary, Grey’s Anatomy, South Side, and Will & Grace) and films (My Spy & Tankhouse). Devere talks about his off-broadway and Broadway shows, his love for Black culture, and his experiences navigating being a working actor and creative in the current climate in the entertainment industry.
