All the gifts of the spirit today were in play in the Old Testament apart from speaking and interpretation of tongues. The spirit was not in-dwelling. So God came up with a plan to dwell in men. Except you are born of the Spirit, you cannot live in the supernatural. As Christians, we are living below normal if we are not walking in the supernatural. The  gifts of the spirit are not for self gratification or self gain. It is  given to us to profit all not ourselves - (1 Corinthians 12:1-11). You  can express the gifts without knowing what they’re called. Don’t wait  for knowledge before you start living the life or expressing the gifts. The Spiritual Gifts 1. Word of Wisdom: This is a divine revelation given by God and it typically reveals God’s plan and it comes with instructions. 2. Word of Knowledge: Talks about things that have happened in the past or currently happening. 3. The gift of faith: A supernaturally enhanced faith to be able to receive a miracle. 4. The gift of Healing: A divine ability to heal all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. 5. Working of Miracles: This is bypassing, surpassing or overriding the natural order of things. Example is parting the Red Sea. 6.  The gift of prophecy: This is a divinely inspired speech, speaking the  heart of God right now. It’s usually about edification, exhortation and  comfort. 7. Discerning of Spirit: This is spirit enabled insight into the spiritual realm like visions, dreams, etc. 8.  Divers kind of tongues & Interpretation of tongues: It is a  supernaturally enhanced expression of the Holy Spirit in an unknown  language. This is the gift of tongue that is beneficial to the  entire body but if there’s no one to interpret, do not speak it - (1  Corinthians 12:10) The more conscious you are of these gifts, the more you’re open to receiving and working in the reality of it. How To Unlock The Spiritual 1.  You need to be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. You can’t  walk this life without being endued with power by the Holy Spirit. 2. A life of Faith: We walk by faith and not by sight. You can’t work it in your own power - (2 Corinthians 5:7). 3.  Dedication and Service to God: Because you’re fulfilling God’s purpose,  He will enable you with all you need to fulfill His purpose. All the gifts are enablement for us to fulfill God’s purpose not for ourselves. 4. Commitment to spiritual growth: God will not give gifts to people that will misuse it. How Do You Commit to Spiritual Growth? 1. Fasting: Deliberately weakening your flesh so you can empower your spirit. Acts 13:2-3 2. Be dedicated to times of prayer and worship. 3. Praying in the spirit. 4. Gathering together with the saints - (Psalms 133).
