Support given in North West for ban of vapes at events

A Sligo Cllr has given his support to an initiative that bans the use of disposable vapes at festivals and events.The measure is being implemented this weekend at Electric Picnic to become more environmentally friendly.Sligo-Drumcliff Fianna Fáil Cllr Dónal Gilroy highlighted how it may be something that could be introduced into the North West and across the country.Cllr Gilroy says passive smoking of vapes can be an issue for members of the public:
