Your VoiceLots of survivors have had their voice robbed many times over, maybe initially as a child, and then again as an adult, when sharing your story.It may be that someone looks at you in a strange way or challenges you.... The tip is that your voice is very important, and here's some ways to hold onto it. Responding with 'why would you ask me that?' can be a start, another is to not discuss your story unless you have someone with you who has your back.A final tip would be using silence as a response, your detractors won't know how to cope with that.
