On this episode: Brian was joined by Baylor women’s basketball Assistant Coach, Sytia Messer. Coach Messer is on a very short list of coaches that has played in a Final Four, at Arkansas and coached a National Championship, at Baylor. She has also coached on 12 conference championship teams, 6 Sweet 16s, 5 Elite Eights, has multiple WNBA Draft picks under her tutelage and all within the last decade and many of those tournament accolades came within the past six years. And I didn’t even mention the fact that she is a Hall of Famer, inducted by the University of Arkansas in 2018. Coach Messer reflects on her career, talks about Baylor and gives our listeners a couple of players to look out for as Baylor heads into this year’s tournament, she also talks about what it would mean for Baylor to win a national championship in the home state of Texas.
