On today’s F.A.CT.S. podcast, host Kevin talks with guest speaker, Keith Rogers, the co-founder of Let’s Heal, and its mission is to create a safe space, allowing the opportunity to begin normalizing conversations about mental health. Keith grew up in Atlanta, Georgia before, moving to Brooklyn, NY to, continue his education. He received his Bachelor’s degree in criminology in 2015 and obtained his Masters Degree in Social Work in May 2021. He plans to further his education by enrolling in a Ph.D. program for Social welfare. Keith has devoted himself to youth development work for over ten years, spending time working with multiple nonprofit organizations. Keith is a social worker for a Nonprofit Social Work agency located in East New York. Keith holds a passion for increasing awareness and access to mental health support within communities of color.  Keith nonprofit mission is to create a safe space and opportunity to start normalizing conversations about healing and mental. In this episode we’re going to have a conversation about mental health and the importance of having open dialogue with the youth in today’s era.
