T.I.A. (Transient Ischaemic Attack)
from Cthonicist · host Svetlovska
A T.I.A. (Transient Ischaemic Attack), or ‘mini stroke’ is caused by a temporary disruption in the blood supply to part of the brain, resulting in a lack of oxygen . This causes symptoms similar to a stroke, such as speech and visual disturbance, and numbness or weakness in the face, arms or legs. In my case, last Friday morning, it paralysed my face for an hour. I felt I needed to mark the event somehow. A steady beat interrupted by monster roars. Draw your own conclusions.
