Today on Take 2 Tonight, KTVU Anchors Alex Savidge & Heather Holmes bring us the latest on the last minute cancellation of the California Governor's Debate. It was set to be held on the campus of USC tonight, but was cancelled. What stood out, were the four candidates of color that were not invited to debate. There's been a lot of backlash, but USC decided it was best to cancel. In the second block of the show, we welcome anchor Mike Mibach, who's in to preview the 10 PM news. First up, a city council meeting involving the police department and the city of San Bruno. The issue revolves around the specifics of potential raises to police officers and city clerks. Betty Yu will have more tonight. Also happening, a San Francisco Unified School District meeting wants to get algebra back into eighth grade.
