Grieving Voices Trailer
Release Date: 06/12/2020
Description: Send Victoria a text message!Preparing to Launch! This podcast has been 30+ years in the making. I went from being a child griever to an adult griever. During this time, I've learned a lot about how grief can negatively impact a person's life, create chaos and hardship, and ruin relationships. It is my hope, that through sharing the tools and language I've learned in addressing grief, that culturally, we can take the conversation up a few notches. Growing up, our parents relied on what they were taught, and it's through this generational learning and lack of formal education around grief, that we have become a society so afraid to talk about it. Therefore, we don't know how to address our grief, much less the grief of others. As a result, we resort to unhelpful and often hurtful phrases a vast majority of us have been taught. Please join me in starting a conversation around grief where we begin to talk about grief like we talk about the weather. ______If you or anyone you know is struggling with grief due to any of the 40+ losses, there are free resources available HERE.If you'd like to share your grieving voice on the show or want to share your thoughts about an episode, please send an email to [email protected] you enjoying the podcast? The Manifestation of Grief
Release Date: 08/04/2020
Description: Send Victoria a text message!Grief manifests in our lives and, in our bodies, in various ways. Most of us will resort to outward behaviors that are neither helpful and are (more often than not) even hurtful. These behaviors only lead to more secrecy, shame, and grief. And, where there is shame, there is usually a pattern to grieve alone and isolate. Grief also shows up in physical ways as well:heartburnhair lossulcersmigrainesbody achesanxietyIn today's episode, learn and reflect on ways you may be grieving without realizing it.______If you or anyone you know is struggling with grief due to any of the 40+ losses, there are free resources available HERE.If you'd like to share your grieving voice on the show or want to share your thoughts about an episode, please send an email to [email protected] you enjoying the podcast?
