On Wednesday we battered our bitter North London rivals to maintain our unbeaten home record against them which goes back to 1990. On Saturday we faced a different type of bogeymen – Newcastle – a team that Mourinho has yet to beat in the league. Arch bogeyman, Papiss Cisse scored twice against Chelsea again, and although we threw the kitchen sink at them in the last 15 minutes, we lost for the first time since May – 24 games ago. Well at least all the invincibles nonsense can be put to bed and we can get on with winning points and the title going forward.
