Tales from the Quarter is a podcast series which tells stories from the People's Archive, a collection of oral histories captured with the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Tales from the Quarter explores the social history of the Jewellery Quarter in the UK's second city Birmingham, once known as the 'workshop of the world'. In this episode, we meet some of the characters who have lived, worked and learnt traditional trade skills in the quarter.
