But you don't need a crystal ball to predict that there are going to be significant changes--more in some areas than in others. Out of the millions of people who lost their jobs, how many will have jobs to go back to when things start to open up and get back to some semblance of "normal?" How many will have jobs but don't want to go back to them because this shutdown has forced them to think about what they want to do in a very different way? Going back to a job they don't love to do has no appeal to them.Either way, whether you have a job to go back to or have a job you don't want to go back to, you have NOW to start planning, and I urge you to consider the possibilities for yourself.If you don't think you have options, you are wrong. You always have a choice about how you manage your time and your life. If you don't like something about your current life, you need to think about what you need to do to change things.I wrote a post about this just this week.
